Quickplay
One of the most important players from the mobile video provider niche, Quickplay, has recently announced that it has raised $12 million, therefore growing to a market value of $40 million.
Even if this mobile video provider doesn’t have a very long history, it has a large database of clients. For example, Quickplay collaborates with giant companies –with gigantic funds, also- like AT&T, Bell Canada, Sprint Nextel, Rogers Communications and Sirius-XM Radio.
And that is not just it. With a history of just 5 years, due to their staff professionalism, among their content clients are important TV channels like ABC, NBC Universal and CBS.
What is interesting about this mobile video provider is the fact that it doesn’t have a large team of workers. But, with their relative small number of workers –just 70- they got into the first positions in the top of mobile services providers.
Also, another interesting detail is that, even if the whole world was “injured” by the economic crisis, Quickplay didn’t have any sort of problems. This is a very important detail because it reveals the possibilities of making enormous amounts of money with a small number of people who are willing to work and act like professionals.
