Phone

According to the specialists from F-Secure, a company specialized in protecting different software, a new worm for Iphone was created, and this one is more powerful than ever.
First of all, this worm’s targets are the people from Europe, especially from Nederland, who are using the ING services directly from their Iphone, in order to make payments.
Practically, the worm will redirect the users to a fake page, identically with the ING home banking, that will require ID and Password. Luckily I don’t wear ID lanyards that day and forgotten my ID, just joking.
Even if until now, there are just isolated cases in Nederland, this worm has a big potential of spreading. Also, according to the officials from F-Secure, this worm can manifest as a botnet too.
This means that the infected IPhones will offer the possibility to be controlled from distance, similar to a Radmin software. This type of consequence will allow the ones who will be in charge of the Iphone to see everything, especially passwords to bank accounts or any other similar things.
This is why this worm is so dangerous. And due to the developed risk factors, the officials form F-Secure recommend to not use any home banking system from the Iphone, at least for a period.

News

How many times have you searched for something and then found it on a wikipedia page? I bet that the answer contains quite an impressive number. After all, wikipedia is the number one online source of information.
With millions of contributors who write and check their information, Wikipedia has developed into an enormous database.
Though, a strange thing is happening: almost 50,000 editors have left from Wikipedia this year. Why is this happening?
Well, the officials say that most of them were writing on controversial subjects. And due to the fact that a lot of people were able to modify the Wikipedia page, the conflicts between the opinions have not waited to appear. Practically, people wrote according to their opinions, but after that, other people came and changed all the stuff. Therefore, for some people, all their work was a waste of time.
Even if the Wikipedia staff is giving their best in order to stop the opinion conflict, these efforts look like a fight with the windmills. Due to the policy of the site, anyone could practically change a certain page. Therefore, there will always be opinion conflicts.
And, in order to prevent the leaving of the editors, Wikipedia should find very fast a solution.

Computer

Can you turn on your PC in just 7 seconds! Yes, you can. Or at least, you will be able to do it in a couple of months when Google will launch its own operating system. According to the officials, Google Chrome OS is planned to appear in the first holiday season of 2010.
Google’s operating system will be a serious hit for the other giants, Microsoft and Apple. Though, for the start, Google Chrome OS will be installed only on low-cost netbooks. But this won’t be a problem, because the operating system will work as any other high-quality system. But for now, Google’s operating system is meant just for browsing on the Internet.
One of the managers of this project declared that, even if, for now, Google Chrome is not as powerful as Microsoft, for example, it will have and advantage: the web surfing will be more faster, and also, the operating system will load in less than 7 seconds. Practically, it will be almost like a TV: you just have to press one button to start surfing through the Internet.
Even if Google Chrome will appear next year, there are already more than 1 million of pre-orders for this operating system, fact that confirms that Google Chrome OS will be definitely a success.
